Day 15

What makes you different from everyone else?

*I sometimes feel like a huge part of me is not understood by anyone else. My passion for music is something I feel sort of alone on because no one seems to view it as I do. To everyone in my life music is just a hobby, but for me, it's a way of life. It's one thing that is just like breathing to me. It's something I engage in every single day, and some days it can make or break my mood. I feel music in every bone in my body. It has the ability to give me chills, make me excited, make me cry. Without music, think about how everyone's world would be so different. I have archives of lyrics and read them like poetry. I analyze songs and break them down to here all of their components. If I had to go one day without it, it would be a LONG day. I only wish I had the talent to create music (other than playing the clarinet in middle school) but I don't, so for now I will just enjoy what others produce.

*I like to think of myself as a "Lefty". To me being a lefty is more than just being left-handed. Some characteristics of left-handers are: adaptability, leadership, quick thinkers. The left side of the brain is more prominent and includes: verbal, analytical, symbolic, and rational components. Left-handers are also more artsy and creative than right-handed. I like to think that being labeled a lefty is pretty right-on. (no pun intended)That description pretty much sums me up- and I guess that's where the whole music appreciation thing comes from too!
