Creed

So if you are my friend on Facebook, you know that I could not contain my excitement over this event. I started listening to Creed when I was 13 years old back in '98, before the whole "With Arms Wide Open" era started and no one knew about them, they were an "underground" band and you could only find their record at hole-in-the-wall spots. So before all the commerical singles and commercial success, I worshiped them. My Own Prison was and still is without a doubt my favorite record of all time. I have seen Creed play live 4 times and this 5th time, I was going all out. We got VIP tickets which allowed us into soundcheck, or in other words, The Greatest Place On Earth. I literally got all Backstreet Boy Fan and was shaking when we went to soundcheck. You know, you listen to a band for all those years and their music speaks to you everytime you hear it, and to actually MEET the people who you believe are literal geniuses, is truly surreal. Anyhoo, we had an absolute blast and I will never forget it. It was in Atlanta so we had a nice trip. We stayed two nights at Embassy Suites and had a fun mini-vacay. Seriously, if all you know of Creed is the stuff on the radio, listen to the My Own Prison record and their new release, Full Circle. Amazing.

Our Captain... not very photogenic

They are giving this 80,000$ chopper away. Pretty cool.

The opening band, Skillet. Evan's new favorite :)
