HELP FELLOW BLOGGERS!
So a lot of people that I follow on Blogger have such cute little photos at the top of thier blogs with all kinds of doctoring done to them. Someone leave me a comment: are these edited using Picnik or some other source? Any help would be appreciated!
Day 16: Cravings.
What do I always crave?
Well first of all, I'm not pregnant, but I sure do eat like I am. I always have, and I'm hoping to always have my same metabolism. Something tells me after children that those days will be no more!
First and foremost:
My beloved coffee. A morning staple. I have it every morning and take off on weekends. Two half and halfs and that's it!
Chips and salsa. Pretty much anything spicy, but you can guarantee I almost always have this at home.
Perrier. For those that don't know what this is, it's pretty much carbonated water with lime juice in it. I don't know a single person on Earth that likes this besides my Dad. So if you have ever gotten a fountain drink and it accidentally add no syrup to your carbonated water, then you may like this drink. I like it because you get the bubbly like a soft drink, but it's just water so it's good for you! (Who am I kidding, I don't care if it wasn't good for you, it's delicious!)
Ramen noodles. Yeah I eat this at least once a week. Yay for sodium!
Sno caps. The best candy ever. Essentially semi-sweet chocolate chips covered in white sprinkles.
Diet Mtn. Dew. I've been known to kill for one of these if the craving is strong enough.
Fudge. No explanation needed.
Anything covered in this condiment. Well, almost anything.

Day 15
What makes you different from everyone else?
*I sometimes feel like a huge part of me is not understood by anyone else. My passion for music is something I feel sort of alone on because no one seems to view it as I do. To everyone in my life music is just a hobby, but for me, it's a way of life. It's one thing that is just like breathing to me. It's something I engage in every single day, and some days it can make or break my mood. I feel music in every bone in my body. It has the ability to give me chills, make me excited, make me cry. Without music, think about how everyone's world would be so different. I have archives of lyrics and read them like poetry. I analyze songs and break them down to here all of their components. If I had to go one day without it, it would be a LONG day. I only wish I had the talent to create music (other than playing the clarinet in middle school) but I don't, so for now I will just enjoy what others produce.
*I like to think of myself as a "Lefty". To me being a lefty is more than just being left-handed. Some characteristics of left-handers are: adaptability, leadership, quick thinkers. The left side of the brain is more prominent and includes: verbal, analytical, symbolic, and rational components. Left-handers are also more artsy and creative than right-handed. I like to think that being labeled a lefty is pretty right-on. (no pun intended)That description pretty much sums me up- and I guess that's where the whole music appreciation thing comes from too!

Creed
So if you are my friend on Facebook, you know that I could not contain my excitement over this event. I started listening to Creed when I was 13 years old back in '98, before the whole "With Arms Wide Open" era started and no one knew about them, they were an "underground" band and you could only find their record at hole-in-the-wall spots. So before all the commerical singles and commercial success, I worshiped them. My Own Prison was and still is without a doubt my favorite record of all time. I have seen Creed play live 4 times and this 5th time, I was going all out. We got VIP tickets which allowed us into soundcheck, or in other words, The Greatest Place On Earth. I literally got all Backstreet Boy Fan and was shaking when we went to soundcheck. You know, you listen to a band for all those years and their music speaks to you everytime you hear it, and to actually MEET the people who you believe are literal geniuses, is truly surreal. Anyhoo, we had an absolute blast and I will never forget it. It was in Atlanta so we had a nice trip. We stayed two nights at Embassy Suites and had a fun mini-vacay. Seriously, if all you know of Creed is the stuff on the radio, listen to the My Own Prison record and their new release, Full Circle. Amazing.
Our Captain... not very photogenic

Day 14: Plans/Dreams/Goals that you have
Plans: maybe a little move? (maybe that's just a dream!)
finish Halloween decorations and blog about them!
as I said before, but am completely serious about, organizing the two tornado
closets... driving me insane!
Dreams: start trying to have a little one in the next couple of years.
have Maddie's dental work done. (her breath is repulsive and her back teeth
are a lovely shade of mint green. i'm not kidding.)
redo our back porch!
Goals: to exercise more.
be debt free by the end of next year.
keep my house cleaner.
be a better wife.

Day 13
Challenge: someone you would want to switch places with for a day and why:
Blake Lively. She's gorgeous, has a cool name, and gets to wear all sorts of awesome clothes on Gossip Girl.
Mark Tremonti. So I could be the best guitar player alive.
Kat Von D. Let's face it. I would never get all these tattoos, but it would be cool to work in a tattoo shop.

Day 10 We Are Fam-ily.
A picture of your family.
My side of the family. Mom, Dad, and Blake.
Evan's side of the family. Ronee, Bobby, Reid, Melissa, Terry, Melissa, Kyle, Kyleigh, Kole, Evan, and Me.
My Gparents. Pop and Granny and Papaw.
Evan's Grandmother on his mom's side, Nana Faye.
Evan's Great Grandmother, Memaw.
Last, but not least, this is what I walked into Thanksgiving dinner to my first time:
Coming from such a small family, this was hard to imagine! It was definitely overwhelming at first, but is so amazing to see such a huge and loving family. I'm very lucky to be a part of it. I'm not going to list people in order so here goes:
Evan, Me, Ronee, Bobby, Reid, Melissa, Kyle, Melissa, Kyleigh, Kole, David, Jenny, Ethan, Braden, Cindy, Frank, Steve, Amy, Brady, Grace, Ronnie, Debbie, Haley, Kris, Allison, Logan, Teresa, Mike, Trent, Grandaddy, Jason, Kathy, Larry. Not pictured: Lawson, Forest, Shawn, Jean, Heather, Brodie, Terry.
